Transformable Medium Walker

The inspiration for this model came from the Diaclone series of robot toys, particularly the mechsuits of the recent reboot. The model features full articulation in the legs as well as elbows and shoulders with linkages for visual interest and structural support. As seen in the images, the legs can completely fold around a pair of dishes, turning them into compact wheels. In this form, the mech would be able to fly. As well, the front cockpit assembly is built using hinges, and it locks together with brackets, so as to keep the tapered silhouette that fits both with the bubble canopy and the smaller side windscreens. This shape was the most difficult part to achieve. Being a two-seater, this is a larger mech in Snuggles's Army and designed to be fast, if only lightly armored. I also wanted to use both the new chameleon and turtle molds in the same MOC, since they are both reptiles. Ultimately, I am very happy with how this build came together.
